The Rory Peck Training Fund

This fund exists for the sole purpose of providing bursaries to enable freelance media workers worldwide to take safety training courses.

The right training makes people aware of their environment, alert to potential risks, able to take steps to avoid them - it can save lives.

The Rory Peck Training Fund is funded by contributions from broadcasters, newspapers, media organisations and individuals, in whose names the bursaries are distributed.

The Fund is international and open to all bonafide freelancers.

Courses should be booked directly through the approved course providers: AKE Ltd, Beltin Group, Bruhn NewTech , Centurion , Objective Team Ltd, Pilgrims Group and TOR International.

When should I apply?

Any freelance media worker worldwide (broadcast or print) who has been working as a freelance for a minimum of 18 months.

Approximately 75% on course costs (max. £750). paid directly to the course provider.
