NBC News hosts the Trust in NYC

Many thanks to NBC News who invited the Trust to New York this week and hosted a Rory Peck lunch for ABC, CBS and CNN colleagues at their offices at Rockefeller Plaza.

It was a great opportunity to discuss how US news organisations are working with with freelancers, and to highlight the on-going importance and relevance of the Trust's work with them.

NBC anchor Brian Williams followed up the Wednesday lunch with a piece in his news blog and the event was also covered up by top US news industry site, TV Newser in Network Rivals Come Together for Common Cause.
