New Venue
for the Rory Peck Awards 2001 Still the only showcase for TV news freelancers in the world, this year's Rory Peck Awards will take place at the National Film Theatre, London, SE1. After the ceremony, there will be a reception in the Film Café, overlooking the river Thames. We are really lucky to have Sarah Ward-Lilley of BBC Newsgathering as our producer once again. We are also deeply indebted to BBC News Resources for all their assistance. The event will be filmed by Reuters, and there will be broadcasts by Channel 4 Television, BBC World, and a live webcast on TVnewsweb.com. Entrants may submit more than one piece of footage. Entry forms will be available after Easter. IMPORTANT! Good freelance footage
is broadcast all the time, all round the world. Don't wait until the summer
- the moment you film/see/hear of a piece of freelance footage that is
relevant - just ring or e-mail us with who shot it, contacts if possible
and we'll follow up from there. |
